Gift Cards are delivered via email - no delivery charge.
General Shipping Information
Expect delivery within 3 to 5 working days. Our busiest days are on New Comics Day and the day after new Comics Day (so Wednesday to Saturday). Please allow extra time for orders placed on these days.
Orders need to be placed in the morning of each working day to make courier pick up times for same day dispatch.
Our tracked delivery flat rate of $8.50 applies per delivery - not per item. There is no maximum limit to the amount of items that can be ordered per delivery.
Our main range of comics, graphic novels and books are available to ship nationwide but there are some exception products that are very expensive to ship and are only available for short haul delivery or pick up instore. Exception products will be identified as unavailable at the checkout and the order won't be able to proceed until they are removed from the shopping cart.
You can pay for your cart but have the items held aside to ship at a later date. Under shipping choose "HOLD DON'T SHIP YET" (please note you may need to push the down arrow at the checkout to reveal this option). When this option is chosen MK1 holds your order aside. We will automatically combine any paid orders aside for each customer and send with the next order that has shipping included. This option is useful for customers who wish to secure an item now but have it ship at a later date. Comic shipments arrive throughout the week from the different distributors that handle each publisher. Many customers have multiple comic orders from different publishers and will use this option to combine orders across a period of time. Customers who prefer a single monthly delivery can use this option to save on shipping costs while not missing out on fast selling out comic titles.
We use NZ Post for most deliveries (and for all PO BOX & Rural address'). For some large sized carton deliveries to the South Island we will use Aramex Couriers. Delivery will be sent immediately (within normal shop hours Monday to Friday) upon receipt of payment.

Sorry we do not ship internationally- our site only accepts orders from address' within New Zealand.
