MK1 MANAGE COMICS Hints & Tips

MK1's weekly newsletter contains a regular section where we post about the Manage Comics System.  Here's a record of our past posts.

Missed the Preorder Deadline? Here is what you need to know:

  • Check with us: If the Final Order Cutoff (FOC) has passed, contact us! We’re always happy to see if we can source extra copies for you.

  • Release day shopping: We may sometimes politely decline adding a late request to your Manage Comics subscription and instead suggest you buy the issue directly from our website on release day.

  • Why do we do this? If we expect post-preorder stock to be tight, factors like shipping damages or shortages make it hard to guarantee a late copy. More importantly, manually adding late requests to the system can accidentally push them to the front of the line. We want to keep fulfillment strictly fair for everyone who placed their preorders before the deadline!

SUBSCRIBING to a One Off release: You can use the Manage Comics "Subscribe" button to reserve a one-off item, even though "subscribing" to a single issue might sound like an oxymoron!

When you click it, the system records your request as a preorder. However, you will only receive the item if the preorder window is still open.

For example: Preorders for the 616 Day Marvel Mystery Bag #1 closed on May 4, 2026. Because it's now labeled "NO LONGER AVAILABLE TO PREORDER," clicking subscribe won't bypass the closed window. If you miss a preorder cut-off, your best bet is to buy the item directly from the website on release day!

HOW LONG WILL MK1 HOLD PAID ORDERS ASIDE? Make use of our HOLD ASIDE - DON'T SHIP YET SHIPPING OPTION and we will keep your paid order aside for up to three months. We will send reminders to reassure you your purchase is safe and not forgotten  BUT we strongly suggest you don't wait too long before triggering an order. All care is taken but occasionally errors occur and the earlier we know that a mistake has been made the more likely we can fix it.

Manage Comics Tip: Territory Restricted Titles

We have a workaround in place to make sure we can still offer Muppets, Ben10, Star Wars, Thundercats, Supernatural (and more) comics to NZ fans despite frustrating territory restrictions that stop these comics from being sent outside of their licensed territories.

We've set up a special alternate method just for our dedicated MK1 readers. Because importing these comics involves a different process, it does require a stricter preorder timeline and they won't be hitting our general shelves. But if you're willing to plan ahead, you can still get your hands on these exclusive issues!

Click here to read the full details, see the list of restricted titles, and find out how to secure your copies!  Please note we only offer this service to subscribers with an established, reliable preorder history (a great track record of prompt payments and no cancellations).

Scroll!

Clicking on a specific variant cover in the Gallery View can be a little confusing for first time users! You might expect it to open a page just for that one cover, but the system actually sends you to the main Series Page showing multiple choices.

Where you land: The Series Page is designed to always highlight the next issue to arrive right at the very top of the screen.  If you have an order in place for this series you should see a short summary of what you have on order under the top listing (look for the heading: My Subscriptions)

Finding your cover: All you need to do is scroll down a little bit. Every available issue and variant cover for that series is listed further down the same page. Right down the bottom of the series page is the ALTERNATE PRINTINGS section where you can find 2nd, 3rd , 4th printings.

For Example: Let's say you click on Absolute Batman #21 (Cover D) while browsing the main DC gallery. You'll arrive at the Absolute Batman series page, where the next arriving issue (perhaps issue #20) will be at the top. By scrolling down just past issue #20, you will find issue #21 along with the Cover D variant.

🔥 Bonus Tip: Quick Full-Size Covers If you want a closer look at the artwork, just right-click (or long-press) on any cover and select "Open image in new tab". This will instantly pop open the full-sized cover art. The mobile view of this page should automatically show full size issues,

The Shipment Notes page:

Sometimes shipments run into problems — data conflicts, printing errors, shortages, or delays. Our SHIPMENT NOTES page lists any current issues.

Case in point: We only received a part delivery from the midweek publishers - a few boxes of releases separated from the main consignment. Tracking is showing the delayed boxes on the way to NZ at last. Our SHIPMENT NOTES page is where we list the delayed titles.

The Problem With "Cover B": Why We Advise Against Variant Subscriptions

We have historically cautioned against setting up ongoing, automated subscriptions for "Cover B" variants. Recently, however, we’ve had to take it a step further: we now actively discourage it.

Our subscription system relies on standard comic book UPC  Barcode data (see the comet standard) . When the data conforms to industry standards, everything works perfectly. But Cover B solicitations have started to get a little Wild West.

Here are some examples of why subscribing to Cover B has become problematic:

1. The UPC Shuffle

In a standard comic barcode, the variant cover is denoted by a specific digit. Cover A = 1, and Cover B = 2. Some publishers have started ignoring this standard, assigning Cover Bs to random designations 3, 4, 5, etc. Randomly placed books slip right past the subscription filters.

2. The Incentive Cover Trap

Some publishers have occasionally assigned the "B" position to an incentive ratio cover (e.g., a 1-in-50 or 1-in-25 variant). If MK1 doesn't happen to order enough standard copies to qualify for that specific incentive tier, the book never gets ordered. The worst part? Because of the bad data, we won't even receive an alert that we missed it, and you won't know until you spot a gap in your reading pile.

3. Hidden Premium Pricing

Other times the Cover B slot gets assigned to special premium variants, like Marvel's "Price on Application" foil covers. Publishers often do not declare the final price for these in the customer facing data (or worse show the price as the standard A cover price - even though the cost charged to retailers is far higher). That lead to a frustrating and expensive surprise at the check out.

4. The Ghost Barcode

In a recent example, a certain publisher gave the Cover B a completely different base UPC code from the rest of its own series. This caused our system to generate two series with the exact same name, but only one had a functioning barcode which impacted our ability to guarantee your pulls.

How to Safely Order Your Variants:

We want to make sure your collection stays complete and your budget predictable. Because publisher data for Cover Bs are currently too unreliable for automated subscriptions, we highly recommend setting your ongoing series subscriptions to standard A covers only. If you see a Cover B (or C, or D!) that you absolutely must have, the best route is to order it individually by pushing the Preorder Issue or Preorder Cover button.

If you love a "set and forget" approach, subscribing to Cover A is your best bet. If you prefer hunting down specific variant covers, preordering is the way to go.

Always Check the Saturday FOC List!

Things move fast in the comic world, so we highly recommend checking the Final Order Cut Off (FOC) / Last Chance to Order list every Saturday.

Because our MK1 highlights blog post is put together a few days in advance, the finalized Saturday lists will often feature last-minute additions that didn't make the newsletter or the blog post —like surprise variant covers and rapid-fire new printings.

Case in point: Image Comics is adding new printings for two super-hot recent launches: D'ORC #1 (3rd Printing) and White Sky #1 (2nd Printing). They weren't on the site when we drafted this newsletter, but you will see them live on Saturday's list! (Remember to scroll down to the bottom of a title's preorder page to view the new announcements under Alternate Printings).

Missing Magazines : The new owners of Diamond Distribution have stopped listing new comics and magazines. Most comic publishers have found new distribution homes but a few specialty magazines have not. Hi Fructose and Fangoria magazines are our highest profile casualties. We will keep trying to find a cost effective import source and will reach out to subscribers when we can resume.

Raw Listings

The publishers are dropping the new March 2026 listings into the preorder feed now!  There will be errors (see below). One common issue we face at this time is publishers failing to correctly identify "incentive" covers in their data. These covers have strict ordering requirements and shouldn't appear in our general preorder lists - but incorrect data can make them look like standard items initially.

Due to the sheer volume of preorders coming in, it is difficult for us to spot these mislabeled covers until we upload our files at the Final Order Cut Off and the system rejects them. If this happens: We will notify you immediately via text and email. Ensure your contact details are up to date so we can reach you quickly if needed, as this will be very close to order deadline - making timing critical when swapping to another cover!

When the new announcements are added to the MK1 preorder site the listings are in their "raw" state - data dumped direct from the publishers - and full of publisher errors. Manage Comics and MK1 are combing through them and correcting errors as fast as we can.  As usual I recommend holding off till you see us publish the blog post of highlights. We will send a newsletter / subscriber email blast out when the listings are stable.

If you are wondering why the listings are viewable before all the errors are fixed it is because many of the USA based Manage Comic shops want those listings up ASAP for cut throat competition reasons!

If you have observed an increase in bad listings you are not wrong.  Diamond Comics Distributors used to do a heap of data fixing for the industry. Unfortunately they were made bankrupt earlier in 2025 and the new owners have not taken on that role.  Many comic publisher's have found homes at new or traditional book distributors who believe it is very much the publisher's job to get things like metadata and barcode management right.   A lot of comic publishers are having to upskill.

NEW TITLE ALERTS!

📢 We’ve Changed How We Send Recommendations!

Gone are the days of the "one-big-email" recommendations. We’ve switched to a smarter system using Manage Comics. Now, you’ll get targeted alerts based on what you already read (e.g., Daredevil (2024) subscribers were just sent an alert for the new Daredevil (2026) launch).

Are you opted in?
These alerts are technically "Marketing Emails."

Want them? Ensure you are opted into marketing emails on your account. If you previously opted out but want these alerts, email us specifically to add you back!

Don't want them? If you receive these and prefer not to, you can unsubscribe via the link in the email or reply to let us know, and we will update your profile.

TREASURY EDITION COMICS

A quick heads-up about Treasury Edition comics: they’re a gorgeous oversized format (about 400mm x 280mm) printed on delicate newsprint-style paper. Because of their size and the way they’re produced, they almost always arrive with a few natural creases or minor marks - even before they make the long journey to NZ. They’re famously tricky to ship, and while we take a lot of care packing them, they’re still one of the most challenging items for us to send safely.

Often customers are unaware that the comic they have preordered is a treasury format (although the price is a rather obvious indication). We automatically cancel all Treasury Edition preorders by default and send an explaining email inviting customers to reply back to re-confirm interest knowing the quirks of this format. If we get a reply we will reinstate the order.

NEW CUSTOMERS

All new Manage Comics customers are required to pay for preorders within 7 days of their arrival. This helps us confirm that communications are working correctly and that orders are being completed in a timely manner. Early on, a lot can go wrong with new preorder setups, so this policy allows us to spot and resolve any issues quickly. Unfortunately, we still see a number of ghost orders and uncompleted purchases, even though preorder accounts are only activated once contact has been confirmed.  Once everything is running smoothly, customers are welcome to request end-of-month billing or scheduled payment days each month.  Please reach out if this is of interest.

SHIPPING NOTES

MK1 keeps the STATUS OF THIS WEEK'S COMIC SHIPMENTS auto-update running in the CHAT WITH US window on our website - that’s the best place to check how the week’s shipments are progressing or to see if there are any major delays.  Sometimes, however, smaller gremlins strike specific titles or processes. To keep you fully informed, we’ve added a new SHIPPING NOTES  page. This is where we’ll post updates on partial shipment issues, fixes for delayed titles, data errors, printing mix-ups, stock shortages, or any hiccups affecting MK1’s website or communications.

You can find the SHIPPING NOTES page under the Preorder menu.

GHOST LISTINGS

Every now and then our preorder catalogue gets haunted by a few ghost listings - out-of-date or cancelled items originally added by the now-defunct Diamond Comics Distributors. Since Diamond’s bankruptcy and subsequent sale (looking like more of a parts salvage than a revival), no one’s been maintaining or clearing out their old data. Once the publishers of these titles partner with new distributors, the listings will be corrected. In the meantime, a few ghosts may linger - and if you happen to preorder one, we’ll be in touch to let you know.

INVENTORY MANAGE COMICS MANAGEMENT
Here’s a quick look at how our website juggles comic inventory. When stock arrives—say 50 copies of Absolute Batman #13—the system automatically holds back the 45 preordered copies in a PULLED pile and lists the remaining 5 as AVAILABLE for sale.

When it’s time for BRUCE WAYNE to pay for his preorder, the system briefly moves one copy from PULLED to AVAILABLE, links it to his payment page, and reserves it again. Smart, right?

That’s the Manage Comics system doing its thing—tracking preorders, splitting stock, and handling payments in the right order. It works best when customers preorder before the deadline. Trying to reserve an item after release (moving AVAILABLE to PULLED) doesn’t work as smoothly. Equally placing preorders after Preorder deadline is also tricky. The best way to secure that copy is simply to buy it directly from the MK1 site if available.  Tip:  Choose the “HOLD – DON’T SHIP YET” option at checkout to avoid paying multiple shipping fees.

This is an abbreviated version of an explainer I added to the HELP GUIDE - here is the full post.

PUBLISHER PREORDER DATA

In the Preorder section of the newsletter we often mention our Hot Tip - “wait until Sunday to take a look, since publishers love dropping new announcements and variant covers right at the last minute.”

That’s because the MK1 Preorder section pulls its info straight from the Manage Comics / Geek Fetch data feed. Publishers can jump in and add items whenever they like, which is why the listings sometimes look a bit weird or have the odd mistake. We’ve got filters in place to show NZ prices and hide non-MK1 items, but it’s not a perfect system — every now and then something slips through.

If that happens, don’t worry — we’ll reach out to let you know if something isn’t available or if the price changes. That’s also why we ask for mobile numbers — so we can touch base quickly if we need to double-check an order before the deadline.

THE MY SUBSCRIPTIONS PAGE:

The Manage Comics – My Subscriptions page is a great resource to keep track of your comics.

The first tab lists everything you currently have on order. Once your preorder arrives at MK1, it moves to the Pulled Orders tab.

At your chosen Shipping/Payment time, those items shift from Pulled to Billed Orders.

We will email a payment link but you can also pay from this tab as well.

In practice all new Manage Comics customers are Billed every week that a preorder arrives. Once your ordering is established with us and it looks like notifications are being received and actioned we will start to send payment links out according to your Shipping Preference.

The final tab lets you update your Shipping and Payment preference. Options are Weekly or Monthly or Paying in store.

ADVICE FOR NEW MANAGE COMICS USERS:

New to Manage Comics? One thing that can trip people up is spotting something they’ve preordered on the MK1 website but yet to receive a notification for. That’s because we don’t send out notifications until the final shipment for the week has been unpacked (comics don’t all arrive in one single tidy delivery, unfortunately).

At the end of each week, every subscriber with a preorder arrival will get a “YOUR NEW COMICS AT MK1” email. In the meantime, you can always check what’s set aside for you under the PULLED ORDERS tab on your MY SUBSCRIPTIONS page. And if you don't want to wait for your payment/shipping time - message us and ask for a payment link to be sent early.

COMIC META DATA: THE COMET STANDARD

The preorder listings are built around the industry best practice use of comic meta data and comic barcode information. A few publishers can be guilty of reusing barcodes or issuing them in inventive and non standard ways leading to problems with our listings and the information presented.

We are always on the look out for these and will report any errors to Manage Comics for correction. If you do spot something unusual please let us know.

Improvements are happening. For anybody interested in Comic Meta Data check out the COMET standard project.

SHIPPING / PAYMENT PREFERENCE

The Shipping Preference setting in your MY SUBSCRIPTIONS page should be treated as a Payment Preference - it is really important to set up correctly. New Manage Comics customers are are billed every week that a preorder arrives. Once your ordering is established with us and it looks like notifications are being received and actioned we will start to send payment links out according to your Shipping Preference.

This preference is how you decide how often MK1 bills you.  Every arrival is notified to you in an automated weekly email but we only send actual payment links according to your chosen preference: Choose between Weekly/Monthly or on set dates. With Local Pick Up payment is made at the shop counter in Hamilton.

It is important to choose a preference that matches when you want to pay as once we generated your payment links the items are only reserved for 7 days. Please reach out if you would like the reserve extended.

Remember items need to be paid within a month of arriving at Mk1 at the latest.

2ND, 3RD , 4TH PRINTINGS:

A recent trend in comics publishing is the rapid release of 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc printings of popular issues—sometimes continuing well after a collected volume edition has been published. On Manage Comics, these reprints appear at the bottom of each title’s preorder page under the heading Alternate Printings (as shown on the Absolute Batman page).

Any new printing that’s open for preorder will display a PRE ORDER ISSUE button. If an issue has passed its Final Order Due (Last Chance to Order) date, it will be marked No Longer Available to Preorder.

That said, it’s always worth checking with MK1 even if something is listed as unavailable—we may have shelf copies on order, or we might be able to place a reorder for you after release.

PAYMENT

Payment is expected within 7 days of receipt of the emailed invoice. Arrivals are invoiced according to your Shipping Preference. Comic Preorders do need to be paid for at least once a month.

Comic shipments arrive throughout the week from various different comic distributors. Arrival notifications and payment links are updated and sent out weekly or monthly depending on your chosen Shipping Preference (although new Manage Comics users will be billed as preorders arrive).

Subscribers can view what they have aside for them at the MY SUBSCRIPTIONS PAGE link. You can change your shipping preference at the above link as well.

Customers wanting to have their preorders held aside to be combined with a future delivery should choose the shipping method HOLD ASIDE - DON'T SHIP YET (will automatically ship with the next order you place that includes a shipping fee). This is a good way to save on shipping costs across multiple orders.

PRICES

The preorder prices you see are estimates based on the publisher's USD$ pricing, converted to NZD. There are a few exceptions—like books from UK publisher Rebellion (2000AD) or Marvel’s FOIL variant covers—where Manage Comics doesn’t calculate the price correctly. In those cases, we’ll get in touch to confirm if you're still interested at the corrected price.

Sometimes the data files from publishers contain errors. If we spot a mistake—like a wrong price or a cover that isn’t actually available—we’ll update the info and ask you to reconfirm your preorder. MK1 checks all preorders before they're finalized, so be sure your contact details (especially your mobile number) are up to date so we can reach you quickly if needed.

More MANAGE COMICS Detail :

WHAT IS MANAGE COMICS?

Manage Comics is MK1's comic subscription system: We put aside copies of every new release comic/graphic novel or manga that our subscribers request. The system that customer's use to place preorders via the MK1 website is an application called Manage Comics.

We use Manage Comics to keep track of preorders and to notify customers when preorders arrive.  All new Manage Comics Subscribers will be sent a payment link in the week that any preorder arrives  - due for payment within 7 days of notification.  If you wish to combine orders to save on shipping costs  - choose the HOLD DON'T SHIP YET shipping option at the checkout.  Established subscribers can request a monthly or fortnightly payment link - more details here.

Customers can view upcoming titles and place pre orders from the PREORDER section of the MK1 website.

NOT ALL ITEMS ARE AVAILABLE:

Not all Items Listed are Available from MK1. Manage Comics listings are created using a data feed from the GEEKFETCH database. We don't have direct control over every individual listing showing. We do use filters to remove problematic items but occasionally stuff sneaks through or is impossible to filter out (like Territory Restricted Titles ).

Not every item showing can be ordered so we will get in touch if a request is not available through MK1.

MANAGE COMICS BUTTONS:

Do you want every issue of a comic series going forward? Press the Subscribe to Series button. (Handy Hint: After you subscribe to a new series refresh the page or visit the MY SUBSCRIPTIONS tab to view what issue your subscription will start from - message  Mk1 if you want to start from an earlier issue).

If you want a single issue press the PREORDER ISSUE button.

If you want a specific variant cover press the  PREORDER COVER button

THE MY SUBSCRIPTIONS PAGE

Check the MY SUBSCRIPTIONS page : The first tab displays everything we have on order for you and what the next issue/volume will be (click each title's link for the expected release date).

The PULLED ORDERS tab shows what we have unpacked for you since your last bill.

The BILLED ORDERS tab shows the last bill we sent (it will have a PAY FOR ORDER  button attached so you can pay from that tab or from email).
The SHIPPING PREFERENCES tab  is how we organize customer groups.  While you can change your SHIPPING PREFERENCE  we don't suggest doing so, instead reach out to MK1 to request a change.  More details about this can be found here.

The MY ACCOUNT Page has a record of your past orders and will show any paid orders that are ready to send along with tracking links for orders already dispatched.

RESOURCES

The CHAT WITH US website plugin has instant answers for common questions - including the current status of this week's expected comic shipments.   The Chat with Us button is the best way to message MK1 - we will attempt to respond straight away within normal shop opening hours but if we are tied up at the counter we will respond to all messages as soon as possible using your registered contact details.   Our FAQ page has even more information.

Check the MK1 website menu.  We add extra explanation pages as different situations arise.  You will find these articles under the PREORDERS menu in a sub menu called  HOW TO USE THE MK1 Preorder System

There are four permanent MK1 Blog Posts that subscribers can use to keep up to date with the latest comic announcements.  These can be found at the top of the MK1 homepage

PRICING

The Price showing is the estimated MK1 sale price in NZD$. MK1 will reach out if the items price proves wildly different than the estimate showing - we can cancel your order on request if you are no longer interested.

Sometimes the data files that publishers provide Manage Comics have errors.  When this happens MK1 will requote the price and ask customers to reconfirm their interest at the corrected price.

NOT ALL ITEMS LISTED ARE AVAILABLE FROM MK1

Manage Comics listings are created using a data feed from the GEEKFETCH database. We don't have direct control over every individual listing showing. We do use filters to remove problematic items but occasionally stuff sneaks through or is impossible to filter out.  Not every item showing can be ordered so we will get in touch if a request is not available through MK1. Some examples are:

Errors: Sometimes a publisher will reuse a barcode on a new product which causes an older unavailable item to be relisted and show as available to order. When this happens we will let anybody who has ordered the item know. We also advise Manage Comics so the listing can be fixed.

Freebie or Promotional bundles :  The minimum order for these are  usually pretty large and the freight is the expensive part.  We remove all bundle requests to avoid an accidental error of ordering many multiples of bundled comics.

Free Comic Book Day comics. We don't do things like we used to - please see our Free Comic Book May post for how we have fun in our Birthday month.

Signed Comics and High Value Rare books: International freight is expensive and prone to damage.  We are able to absorb the cost of the odd  damaged book or a few regular priced comics but have learned the hard way to avoid the risk of something happening to a rare comic costing 100s of USD$.

Territory Restricted Titles: There is a growing list of comic titles that are not able to be sent via the usual comic distribution system to New Zealand. This happens when publishers have only purchased, or have only been granted a character or brand license to produce comics using those characters to be sold in a North American or specific international territory that does not include NZ. We have a way round this but orders must be placed as early as possible - the Final Orders Due date is way too late! See this page for more information and the latest list of territory restricted titles.

NOT ALL COVERS ARE AVAILABLE TO PREORDER

Our Manage Comics listings show Open to Order covers only. MK1 doesn’t offer preorders for incentive covers — these versions are often printed in very small quantities (if they arrive at all) and are more susceptible to damage or packing mistakes. While we filter incentive covers out of our preorder listings, occasional publisher data errors may cause them to appear temporarily. Any we do qualify for that are in top condition go on the MK1 website on NEW COMIC DAY - we use them as a bit of excitement and a reason to visit the MK1 site on that day.    Handy Hint: you can spot an incentive cover by a qualifier or ratio listed within the comics title  eg. TRANSFORMERS #6 CVR E 50 COPY INCV variant  or HARLEY QUINN #39 CVR F INC 1:50 VARIANT.

NEW COMIC DAY

The date advertised in the preorder listings is the release date in the USA (and in US format Year-Month-Day).  If the title releases on time MK1 will receive our copies in the same week as this release date.  DC, Image & Oni Press and an assortment of Indie Publishers arrive on the same day as the advertised date (Wednesday). Marvel, Dark Horse, IDW & the rest of the Indie publishers will arrive on the closest Thursday or Friday following the advertised USA release date.

NEW MONTHLY LISTINGS

The New Monthly Listings usually appear at the end of the  month.  We recommend waiting a week before placing orders.

At the end of each month  you will start seeing new listings show up.  You can tell the new month's titles have been added because the banner will change at the top of the main preorder landing page.  We recommend patience and waiting till at least the end of the first week of each month before placing orders.  Manage Comics will have found a heap of publisher data errors already but there will still be more - things should be stable and ready for your preorders after a week.

STRANGE LISTINGS!

The preorder listings are built around the industry best practice use of comic meta data and comic barcode information.  A few publishers can be guilty of using  barcodes in inventive and interesting but  non standard ways  leading to  problems with our listings and the  information presented.  We are always on the look out for these and will report any errors to Manage Comics for correction.  If you do spot something unusual please let us know.

SUBSCRIPTION REQUESTS FOR GRAPHIC NOVELS & MANGA

Our Manage Comics service is not just for comics - you are most welcome to use Manage Comics to place ongoing requests for future volumes of a graphic novel or Manga by pressing the SUBSCRIBE button on the latest title listing.

ORDERING MULTIPLE COPIES

You can adjust the qty on order once you have preordered an issue.  The steps are 1. Place comic  on preorder. 2. Either refresh the page and adjust order quantity or  jump to your MY SUBSCRIPTIONS record and adjust the qty on order under the My Subscriptions tab.  Qty will need to be adjusted before that issue's Final Order Due date.  Once we  "approve" a preorder the qty is locked - message MK1 if you would like this adjusted.

HOLD ASIDE - DON'T SHIP YET SHIPPING OPTION

With comics deliveries arriving three times a week the HOLD ASIDE - DON'T SHIP YET Shipping Option is an extremely popular shipping option for customers wanting to secure comics but save on shipping by combining multiple orders together at a later date. The next time a customer places an order and pays shipping we automatically check if they have any previous paid orders to include with their shipment.  More details here.

If you choose the HOLD ASIDE - DON'T SHIP YET option in error look out for the automatic  emailed order confirmation -  it contains instructions on how to pay for shipping after an order is placed

HOW LONG WILL MK1 HOLD PAID ORDERS ASIDE?

We will keep your paid order aside for up to three months while we wait for you to place an order that includes a paid shipping fee. We will send a reminder once a month to reassure you your purchase is safe and not forgotten. Please reply to these messages so we know communications are getting through...  .... BUT we strongly suggest you don't wait too long before triggering an order. All care is taken but occasionally errors occur and the earlier we know that a mistake has been made the more likely we can fix it.

HOW LONG WILL MK1 HOLD UNPAID ORDERS ASIDE?

Ideally all preorders are paid within 7 days of the payment link being sent out.  The longest MK1 will wait for payment is one month but this needs to be arranged in advance.  Please contact us if you are going to be away. Please do keep your contact details updated especially  mobile phone numbers.  We will always reach out to confirm interest but if we don't hear back we will cancel your orders along with future preorders.
