UPDATE MK1 will be open when Level 2 begins this Thursday 14th of May 2020 - the following is how we will run Click and Collect from MK1 for the final two days of Level 3 restrictions. MK1 is open for Click and Collect contactless pick up.  Deliveries have also resumed.  Under Alert Level 3 we are offering our usual flat rate delivery service plus we are providing a contactless Click & Collect service. Final Order Cut Off:  MK1 is preparing for Weekly Comic shipments to resume - hopefully as early as May 20th.  We normally lock our order quantities down a couple of months in advance.  Previously we would make the odd tweak to our orders a few weeks out from shipping, on a date called Final Order Cut Off.  A lot has happened since we last preordered comics so making the right tweaks has become even more  important.  We are looking for as much preorder and customer interest information as we can get to help us order the right numbers.  Every week's Final Order Cut Off selection is published...

Free Comic Book Day 2020, Mk1 News -

Today would have been Free Comic Book Day 2020 .  FCBD has been cancelled for MK1 this year - looking forward to FCBD 2021!  Here is a Facebook gallery of last year's event   - as you will see not much chance of social distancing in the store for a day like that.  Moving on… Our first week of Click & Collect went well. One thing we have to emphasise is that the orders should be compiled online, via email or phone - we are unable to put an order together at the door sorry.  Looking forward to hearing what the Level 2 restrictions will look like - hopefully...
